From draft to signed agreement

One workflow covers your public policies and the agreements customers sign against them.

  1. Upload a draft

Add a new version from the dashboard or the API: Markdown, DOCX or PDF for documents, Markdown or DOCX for DPA templates. We generate the web page and PDF.
  2. Review and approve

A person on your team checks the text changes and approves. Automated uploads always wait for a human.
  3. Publish on your dates

Publish now or schedule it, set the effective date separately, and decide whether subscribers get an update email.
  4. Collect signatures

Your customer's legal administrator fills in the details and names a signer, who reviews the completed agreement and accepts.

One product, three different questions

The people who decide on a trust center look for different things. Each page below answers one of them.

Compliance officers

"Which version applies, and who has signed it?"

  • Current, upcoming and past versions
  • Required re-signing with deadlines
  • Signed PDFs with audit details
For compliance officers

IT administrators

"How does it fit into our setup?"

  • Hosted address and your own subdomain
  • EU or US home region
  • API uploads with human approval
For IT administrators

Directors

"Who owns this, and what does it cost?"

  • Every product in one account
  • Named approvers and signers
  • One plan, pooled across products
For directors

Your name on the page and in the inbox

Each product gets its own trust center with its own logo, colors and links, all under one company account.

Questions

What does a trust center contain?

The public legal documents for one product, such as a privacy policy, terms, a subprocessor list and your DPA. Each document shows its current version, any upcoming version and every earlier version, as a web page and a PDF.

We sell more than one product. Is that extra?

No. One company account holds as many trust centers as you have products. Signed DPAs from all of them count toward one shared plan.

Do customers need a password?

No. Customers, signers and your team sign in with a link sent to their email address.

Is a signed DPA legally binding?

SimpleTrustCenter records the signer's explicit acceptance and produces a signed PDF with the details of who accepted what and when. Whether an agreement is enforceable depends on its terms and the applicable law, so have your legal team review your template and acceptance wording.

Where is our data stored?

You choose a home region when your company account is created: EU (West Europe) or US (Central US). Documents, customer data, signed agreements and backups are kept in that region. The region can't be changed later.
